This has happened on the back of the ‘like-controversy’ between the two figures that made headlines. It started with the fans notching Virat Kohli’s like on one of Avneet’s pictures that didn’t stay long. It vanished soon, but was enough to spark waves among the fans to start gossip and whispers across the internet.
People started to make different speculations and joke about various topics regarding that. To handle the situation, Kohli came forward with a vital clarification on his Instagram account,
“I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for understanding.” Virat Kohli wrote.
His message ended the rumor, but the fans still waited for Avneet’s reply. In a newly shared video, she was seen wearing a white tee and red plaid skirt, and once the photographers called Kohli’s name, she blushed with a shy face.

Virat Kohli puts the curtain down on Test cricket
On Monday morning, Virat Kohli shocked the world by announcing his decision to hang up his shoes from the longest format.
The right-handed batter finished as the fourth leading run-getter of Tests with 9230 runs in 123 games at an average of 46.85 and a strike rate of 55.57, scoring 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 254 runs against South Africa.
There are many influential characters in Indian cricket, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, but Virat Kohli runs in a different league because he not only goes for the results with his performances, but also changed the mindset of Indian cricket.
The Delhi-born remains the country’s most successful Test captain with 40 victories in 68 games, including the maiden Test series victory during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2018-19 down under.

India faces a major challenge in replacing experienced players
A couple of days before Virat Kohli’s Test retirement, India saw their current red-ball leader, Rohit Sharma, bidding adieu to the longest format. With two experienced players’ departures, the selectors will have their job cut out for the upcoming five-match Test series in England.
Shubman Gill, reportedly, is going to be the new leader, but he will have a tough time captaining the side in the absence of the veterans. It won’t be long before Ravindra Jadeja takes him out of the Test side. Whatever happens, the Indian side has gone into the transition mode after nearly 12 years.
