Bangladesh is coming into the three-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

They started with a 27-run victory in the opening clash before the home side punched back with two successive wins by two wickets and seven wickets.

Bangladesh will start their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka through the series against Pakistan. One of the vital aspects of the side is their batting performance throughout the innings.

None of their batters have got power and balance in the three phases of the game. The opening batters have lacked fire in the powerplay from the opening batters, while the lower-order batters also struggle in the death overs of the innings.

Openers- Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon

Tanzid Hasab Sakib finished the series against the United Arab Emirates as the second leading run-getter with 109 runs in three innings at an average of 36.33 and a strike rate of 181.67, thanks to 13 boundaries and eight over boundaries.

Parvez Emon celebrated a fine century during the second game and enjoyed a series of 100 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 181.82. His century knock was decorated with five boundaries and nine sixes.

Both these openers will hope to give Bangladesh a stable start in the power play against Pakistan.

Middle order- Litton Das (c), Mehedi Hasan/Soumya Sarkar, Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali (wk), Shamim Hossain

The pressure will be huge on the T20I captain, Litton Das, who has lost his momentum for 2085 runs in 96 innings at an average of 22.41 and a strike rate of 124.92, thanks to 11 half-centuries at the best score of 83 runs.

Soumya Sarkar could get his place on the national side. However, the management may keep their faith in Mehedi Hasan. Towhid Hridoy is the upcoming talent for the national side and has thumped 749 runs in 32 innings at an average of 27.74 and a strike rate of 131.14, with three fifties.

Jaker Ali has already displayed his firepower to nail the ball around the park and show his incredible smartness to play a few funky but vital knocks. It will be important for these batters to step up in cthe rucial stage for the national side.

Bowlers- Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nahid Rana, Mustafizur Rahman

Rishad Hossain is another upcoming talent in the bowling department for Bangladesh. The leg spinner has picked up 41 wickets in 31 innings at an average of just under 20 and an economy rate of 7.80.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Nahid Rana will bring the pace for the powerplay region. Both can swing the ball with pace and create trouble for the batters.

Mustafizur Rahman, who has earned 134 wickets in 106 T20I innings at an economy rate of 7.48, will be a vital member of the side with the slower balls, especially in the death overs of the game, to fox the batters. They will have to play as a team to defeat a strong side like Pakistan in the shortest format, especially on their home ground.
